职位描述及要求：
Key Responsibilities：
-Oversee the subscription-based output of China Confidential, the largest component of FT Confidential Research, an independentresearch service from the Financial Times.
-Commission alerts, in-depth reports and other proprietary content, and work with our Head of Research on developing our key “narratives” on China, and refining research methodology.
-Edit the output of the research team, and write analytical articles for EM Squared, an affiliated premium web offering on emerging markets, on FT.com.
-Manage a team of about 15 researchers in China, London and New York. Six are direct reports.
-Work closely with the sales team to keep them abreast of latest research findings.
-Conduct about four scheduled client conference calls monthly on key topics arising from our research, as well as have ad hoc calls with prospective clients.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Ideally you will have several years of experience in a senior editorial role at a publication focused on China, in particular its economy, financial sector and the political/regulatory landscape. You will also be familiar with the art of developing predictive market intelligence, and know how to edit copy so that it stands out as “must read” material. A background in news journalism will also be a significant plus.
